It’s hard to believe that we’ve already reached 20 whole weeks with our little man! Over the last few weeks I’ve gotten my spunk and my sweet tooth back (aka…send help for the husband! Hahah!). Baby boy is officially the size of a banana and we are starting to feel little kicks stronger and stronger each day. Annnddd…I may or may not indulge in a little cold ice cream occasionally to entice him to move around for us. 🙂
There were several highlights over the weekend for us. First, we got to count little fingers and toes during our 20 week anatomy scan. Such a cool experience and MAN…has he grown so much in just 4 weeks! Second, I got to watch my husband build our sweet baby crib and he was such a good help with styling the nursery!

How far along are you? 20 weeks!
What fruit are you? Banana
Due Date? June 6th, 2018
Gender: It’s a BOY!
Total weight gain/loss: Umm…errr. I don’t want to talk about it this week.
Exercise: Ok, workouts are way hard now. Like whoa, gotta go slow to catch my breath, hard. Slowly, but surely working those back into the routine.
Stretch marks: None – knock on wood.
Swelling: None – Yay!
Maternity clothes: Still living in my maternity jeans or well…no pants at all. I have had the hardest time finding a comfy lounge pants and workout pants that I can sport around on the weekends. I’ve got to be more trusting of online shopping. Send your recommendations my way!
Belly button: It’s tight!
Sleep: Added another pillow to the bed this week for support. Still waking up at 3 am wide awake and falling back to sleep around 4:30am. I’ve also found a few tricks to get myself to sleep more throughout the night that works about 50/50.
Food cravings: Give me all the avocados and milk duds! Up until now I haven’t had much of a sweet tooth, but bless me….it’s back and I’ve had all the ice cream my little heart desires. Oops. Oh and I found an edible cookie dough that I probably should have never touched. Send help. Oh and those little cutie oranges are like crack. Yum!
Symptoms: I’ve got my spunk back over the last two weeks. Not as many naps, but finding myself getting worn out from cleaning and styling the nursery. Hello lower back pain.
Movement: Lots of little kicks after meals and in the evenings. They are still too small for the hubs to catch, but getting stronger by the day.
What I miss: My workout pants! I just want to wear stretchy pants.
What I’m loving: Styling the nursery! I’ve pinned about 2 million nursery inspiration pins to my “dream nursery” board on Pinterest and finally settled on a theme/design. Then threw about half of the ideas out the window when I fell in love with this southwestern/bohemian style rug with fun colors. Nursery tour coming soon!
What I’m looking forward too: Surprisingly, I’m looking forward to my belly popping just a bit more so it looks like I am actually pregnant and not like I’ve eaten a little too much at lunch.
Best moment this week: Seeing the hubs get so excited about building the crib. Check out my Insta for those first-time dad crib building pics!
Words of wisdom: Enjoy the renewed energy during these weeks and don’t let those pesky registries overwhelm you.
